Last year was the first year I did a December Daily, a similar concept to the travel journals I do when we go away. This year I had a Tim Holtz Small Folio that I decided to use, and I chose Basic Grey Evergreen for my Christmas theme this year – I love the colours in this range, especially the turquoise, and I got 6×6 pads as the print is slightly smaller.
On the cover I used a full sheet of 6×6 paper, with strips top and bottom, and I used this same paper to cut ‘December 2014’ with my Cuttlebug. The Christmas tree is the same as what I made for my Christmas cards – keeping the theme. And I used my Epiphany Crafts Round Button Punch to make coordinating buttons, then tied bows through them with cotton.
The Folio has flaps top and bottom, and there was space for 5 double sided pages in the flaps – I split this into two, so with the two flaps I had 24 pages. I labelled each page with numbers cut from the leftover paper with my Cuttlebug. These pages are the right size for my Instax Share printer and some writing each day.
I decided to use the larger space on the inside front cover for Christmas Day, this way I can fit a few photos on, and space for a title. Again, I used papers and my Cuttlebug.
I also have a box ready for December, with extra paper, ribbons, buttons, stamps and stencil. I will use this to decorate each page through December.
What are you doing for your December Daily? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Looks great. Love the album with flippy pages.
