Welcome to my first post for Southern Girls Challenge Design Team! The theme for this challenge is ‘Anything Goes’ so I thought I’d share with you my December Daily.

My book is 4 inches square, and I used Distress Oxides for the background of this cover. I added die cuts of the ornaments and gingerbread man (I love this little gingerbread man!) I added a chipboard phrase and created the title using one of my Dymos, mounting it on chipboard too.

For the pages I folded the two outside thirds into the centre. I used Distress Oxide for the two outside triangles and the centre, and then white card on the two inside triangles. I added number brads to the corner of each page. I will used my Instax Share printer each day and put the picture in the centre, and then I can add journaling on the two white triangles. I have already cut some more of the small shapes – ornaments, gingerbread men, candy canes, presents, Christmas trees and stockings, so one or two of them will be added to the pages as well as some more of the chipboard phrases.
I love creating a December Daily, keeping a record of all the traditions that we do each year as well as the different things. And this year I have decided to go all the way to the 31 December instead of just Christmas Day. Keep an eye on my Facebook Page and Instagram as I will post pictures of some of the finished pages.

What a cool project Beth and fab debut for Southern Girls! Love your fab ink work. Welcome to the team hunny. Hugs, Wends xoxo
Thanks Wendy! I’m looking forward to all the projects to come – and I’m sure you’ll see lots more ink work, it’s my favourite!
