It is time for the last Southern Girls Challenge of the year, and we’re doing Anything Goes. As Christmas is coming I thought I’d do a Christmas layout.
I had this lovely shaped paper from BoBunny, and found some thread to match. I measured up where my photos needed to be, and then made a title to suit the space and stitched them all.
I also stitched around the edge of the frame for extra contrast and texture.
For the final space, I cut some poinsettias with my Cuttlebug, and then stitched around the edges of these too. I would have put a gold brad in the centre, but a lot of my things are packed away ready for moving to our newly built house (can’t wait for my big new studio), so I had to use what I had and decided knotted gold thread would work just as well.
I love the vintage feel of this layout, fitting nicely with the photos being from a few years ago!
Don’t forget to pop on over to SGC and see what the rest of the DT have been up to as well as joining in this challenge with your projects.
