It is Tic Tac Toe time at Southern Girls Challenge this month!
Choose a row of three from this board:
I’ve been doing quite a bit of sewing recently, having done an upholstery course and (nearly) covered a chair, as well as other bits and pieces. So scrapping a picture of me age 7 at the sewing machine seemed fitting!
I decided to use my sewing machine on my layout so lace seemed to be an obvious choice! I had white lace, so that was two of the three easily.

I found some paper that matched the feel of my photo, ripped a strip of coordinating paper, and stitched it on. I then added strips of lace and stitched them on too.
To attach my photo I kept with the theme and stitched it on! But before I did I put a line of stitching across the top – this meant that I could keep the border but also add a journaling tag behind the photo.
To finish off the layout I found some white bling that I had been given in a class – perfect to tie the third element into the other two. If bling hadn’t been on the TTT Board I probably wouldn’t have used it, but I love the effect it gives!

Finally I cut a little white tag and used some lace as the ribbon in the hole, then put it behind my picture. This was a simple layout, but I love it – the textures, the colours and the theme!
Don’t forget to check out what the rest of the DT have done over at Southern Girls and enter the challenge yourself.

Gorgeous layout Beth! Love the lace and that sweet pic. Thanks for a stellar job on the Top 5 too hun. Hugs, Wends xoxo
